This one was a commission from a devoted Grandmother as a Christmas present to her Daughter and Son-in-law.
This is her favourite photo of her Grandson and so she wanted it to be recreated as a portrait.
As always, I began with an initial sketch and a line drawing to scope out the composition and establish the rudiments of the likeness.
