This full body portrait was commissioned by the sitter, Kendall Joel, a.k.a. Lady K who together with her husband, Steve, ran the popular Lady K burlesque boutique in Bedford for many years as well as running special burlesque charity events raising money for autism.
This is a work in acrylics on canvas, measuring 60 x 100 cm
Kendall presented this portrait to her husband on his birthday and it still hangs, pride of place, in their home.
Sadly, Steve is no longer with us in body but lives on in spirit and I was honoured to be chosen to create a memorial portrait of him, which you can see here.
