This portrait was commissioned by Kendall, Steve's lovely wife to commemorate and celebrate his life, which he sadly lost in the later months of 2023.
It is a work in oil on canvas and shows his dressed as his alter ego, Sir Vlad at one of the many burlesque charity events they ran together in Bedford, raising money for autism.
It was a pleasure to be asked to create this as I had previously painted Kendall herself, as a gift for Steve some years earlier. See here.
